Butter chicken | how to make butter chicken at homemade
Ingredients:
- 500g boneless chicken
- 1 onion
- 2 tbsp butter
- 6 cloves garlic
- 1 inch ginger
- 1 tsp red chili powder
- 1 tsp garam masala
- 1/2 cup tomato puree
- 1/2 cup cream
- Salt to taste
- Coriander leaves for garnish
Method:
1. Cut the chicken into small pieces and marinate it with salt, red chili powder and garam masala.
2. Heat a pan and add butter to it.
3. Once the butter melts, add chopped onions, garlic and ginger and sauté till the onions turn translucent.
4. Add the marinated chicken to the pan and cook until it is tender.
5. Add tomato puree, salt and cream to the chicken and mix well.
6. Let the curry simmer for 10 minutes.
7. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve hot with rice or naan.
